It was always going to be headline news in the caravanning world when Adria launched their new caravan range for 2017. Once again, we were invited to attend the presentation on the 20th July and would like to report to you the highlights of the show.
In order to make the most of the special day, we stayed overnight on Tuesday, just outside the location of the launch in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. Mistakenly, we booked the Warwick South hotel, rather than Warwick North so had to go back on ourselves which was a nightmare on the busy M40!
Exciting new additions to our range
Despite the mix up the previous evening, we arrived at the impressive Walton Hall hotel in Wellesbourne bright and early for the 10am conference. The Adria team guided us through the new features on the 2017 range and how they better the 2016 models. Consequently, we are delighted to announce that we will soon have in stock the following touring caravans:
- Adria Altea Eden (5 Berth)
- Adria Altea Severn (6 Berth)
- Adria Altea Tamar (6 Berth)
- Adria Altea Trent (4 Berth)
- Adria Adora Rhine (6 Berth)
- Adria Adora Isonzo Platinum Collection (4 Berth)
- Adria Adora Thames Platinum Collection (4 Berth)
- Adria Alpina Missouri (4 Berth
‘The ultimate caravan for year round adventures’ is how Adria describe their stunning new Alpina range this year. The Alpina model has replaced the Astella collection from last year and it is easy to see why this caravan surpasses its predecessor. The Missouri features a very spacious fixed double bed at the rear of the caravan, making holidays in it as comfortable as possible. Another of the most striking changes is the concave framed cupboards which are completely unique and therefore make it really stand out from the crowd.
Also new are the headrests in each of the front two corners of the living area for maximum comfort. The exterior is comprex, meaning that it is more solid and resistant than ever before. For those technology lovers out there, this caravan also has a Bluetooth audio system with loud speakers and USB ports.
Introducing the Platinum Collection
2016 saw the release of the Silver collection of the Adora Isonzo, which turned out to be incredibly popular and successful. Due to this, Adria have upgraded to the Platinum Collection for 2017, featuring a new graphic design but keeping the elements which made the 2016 models so successful. The enormous front panoramic roof window, the silver exterior body shell and full end washrooms with separate shower have all remained, as has the fixed double bed in the Isonzo.
The main change to the Altea selection is the adoption of the front panoramic roof window which really makes these caravans feel very spacious by letting in much more light.
Once we have made our order, every guest from the four corners of the country sat down to a delicious meal where caravan-related conversations filled the air! Finished with a comedy duo and disco, we danced the night away celebrating Adria’s success at creating such an impressive fleet.
Coming soon to Roundstone Caravans
